This residence was designed for a retired couple who envisioned a home as both sanctuary and gathering place — warm, lived-in, and always ready to welcome their children and grandchildren. More than a backdrop, the design becomes an active expression of their lives, weaving together decades of travel, art, books, sculptures, and heirloom furniture passed down through generations. Each piece finds its place, adding depth, history, and personality to the interiors.

The design balances cozy intimacy with openness, ensuring the home feels low-key and comfortable yet inspiring and refined. Natural materials, soft textures, and a warm palette create harmony, while thoughtful arrangements give every treasured item room to shine, sparking stories and connections. Intimate corners invite reflection, while generous open spaces are shaped for family gatherings filled with energy and joy.
